Here are pictures I took as second shooter for the talented Mariska Venter and her Colour Photography brand. I'm so greatful to her for giving me the opportunity to build my wedding portfolio.  There are not many photographers who are willing to give their second shooters the right to publish the photos that they took, so thank you Mariska. You are an amazing person, and I'm humbled and grateful to have been part of your team.

Meet Janinè and Jannie who celebrated their wedding at the famous Grey College in Bloemfontein.

It was a huge honour to be part of their biggest celebration.  Janinè looked stunning in this lace gown by Julie Wedderburn. Your are an awesome couple, and I'm so blessed to have met you.

2013-09-27 Bagamoya Lifestyle Estate - Photo Shoot with the Lions - Volkswagen

It's a wonderful and humbling experience to photograph these majestic animals up close.  They are only three years old, and made me feel very small indeed.

Meet Sharine Barnard and her pride of lions, who just love custard.  She has an amazing relationship with her animals and her love for them is so obvious.

2013-09-17 Matric Dance 2013 - OMS Friends

When your girl dresses up for the "ball" that marks the beginning of her grown up life, we mothers stand in awe of our babies who are not so little any more.  Suddenly we realise the gravity of our nest about to be a little emptier than usual.

These young ladies braved one of the worst dust storms Bloemfontein had ever seen for these photos. A last minute change in venue was necessary.... and I can't thank the kindest friends enough at the Tuscan Rose Hotel, for their hospitality in allowing us to shoot there.  (Go check our this gorgeous gem at http://www.tuscanrose.co.za)
