When your girl dresses up for the "ball" that marks the beginning of her grown up life, we mothers stand in awe of our babies who are not so little any more. Suddenly we realise the gravity of our nest about to be a little emptier than usual.
These young ladies braved one of the worst dust storms Bloemfontein had ever seen for these photos. A last minute change in venue was necessary.... and I can't thank the kindest friends enough at the Tuscan Rose Hotel, for their hospitality in allowing us to shoot there.
